Panasonic is another brand that probably would've done well to just make up some other moniker for their bike line, because it doesn't sound particularly attractive.  They made a go of it though with a wide range of bikes to appeal to every level of rider.  This would have been their lesser touring model from the late 80s.  I think 1985 is a little early unless this guy didn't count his gears right. 

But unlike most low level 'touring' models this bike is actually outfitted somewhat like a tourer.  Canti brakes, triple cranks and along range derailler.  The frame was stout Tange 1000 and you can put fenders on it.  Ofcourse it isn't a tourer you can do much touring on, but you could turn this into a great rain bike or errand runner.  And you're in at only $100.  By the end of the 80s, though, even these models were decked out with every braze on you could want and could be outfitted like an honest to goodness touring bike. 

The styling of this bike is mercifully minimalistic, as some of the decals on the Panasonics are hideously 80s.  I wonder what the ride is like?  I had a Panasonic sport which was heavy as a tank and, despite being my size, I really had to crunch up to ride.  The touring model may have had a more expanded geometry and a better ride for someone like me. 

1985 Cannondale Tourer

Has been in garage for a long time collecting dust.
260 firm.
Some light rust on wheels.

I believe this to be a 1985 ST500 which in 1985 was Cannondales top tourer, but in 1986 would be the middle grade.  I personally prefer this iteration of Cannondale styling with the smaller font and the charcoal rather than gloss black paint.  Originally this was a nicely outfitted bike and the owner has made some nice upgrades.  Bar end shifters and a high rise stem chief among them, but I suspect the original 27 inch rims may have also been replaced with 700c, but that's a hunch.  The Sugino cranks are original, and hopefully the rear derailer is too.  The Huret Duopar might strike some people as fit for replacement, but it had a really good reputation for long cage derailers in that period.  A nice bike and reasonably priced considering the shifters probably ran about $80 on their own. Snap it up.

Rare Bridgestone T-700 Touring Bike - $600 (Uptown)

I recently purchased this ~1985 classic and was sad to find out that it was a little too small for me. I upgraded it with:
-Velo Orange hammered fenders
-Nitto moustache bars (if you would rather the original drop bars, I have those too)
-Nitto technomic stem (60mm) (I also have a 100mm standard stem that I could swap out)

She is bike is a smooth riding chromoly steel frame and it breaks my heart to part with her.

There's a lot of versatility in these Bridgestone tourer frames, and I enjoy the aesthetic.  Probably a bit expensive.  Rare?  You usually see some iteration of Bridgestone's touring bikes available on ebay and craigslist.
